Our entrepreneurial Digital Platforms team is seeking a strategic, high-performing Digital Banking Product Owner to help define the vision, shape the product strategy, and lead the execution of several high-impact initiatives to help scale our platform. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of and influence the future direction of our platform, solve complex business problems, and deliver meaningful impact for our clients.
As a Product Owner, you will lead high-impact technology initiatives that bring innovative banking products and capabilities to market across the Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE client-facing web and mobile platforms. You will partner closely with Digital Product Managers and collaborate across design, engineering, operations, legal, risk, compliance, fraud and business stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and client-centric experiences that deepen client relationships and support the firm's strategic priorities.
You will help define and execute the digital product strategy, translate objectives into actionable product roadmaps, and deliver scalable solutions that drive deposit growth, increase digital engagement, strengthen cash management offerings, and position the firm as a market leader in the digital banking space.
Job Requirements:
  • Work in a fun, fast-paced, and collaborative environment designing next-generation banking technology for clients (mobile apps, websites, embedded AI etc.).
  • Design innovative new products with market-leading competitive advantages that transform how clients save, manage, move, and spend their money.
  • Develop and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital banking product offerings.
  • Deliver new products by partnering directly with technology, business, and operations teams to define and write requirements, manage the overall project plan, and execute deliverables.
  • Lead client research, requirements development, and user experience design for new digital products.
  • Support usability testing and translate findings into product improvements that drive increased adoption.
  • Research and analyze the digital banking and wealth management industries, with a focus on cash management and digital payments.
  • Present findings to executive management, and drive change execution aligned with Wealth Management priorities
  • 8+ years of professional experience in wealth management, retail and/or commercial banking, and/or consumer financial technology.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in technology product management and design.
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience preferred.
  • BA/BS required; MBA (or advanced degree) preferred.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at
the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
