iFIT's vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their own individual fitness journey.
We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Quality Engineer hybrid in Logan, Utah.
iFIT is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to own the quality of iFIT's electronic sub-assemblies from prototype through high-volume production. In this role, you will spend significant time inspecting printed circuit boards against IPC standards and setting up test equipment for functional, environmental, and life testing. You will troubleshoot at the component and system level using schematics and SolidWorks drawings, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions on supplier and product quality issues through to closure, and work cross-functionally with Design and Manufacturing Engineering and outside suppliers to define process parameters and drive down cost of poor quality.
ROLE COMMITMENTS
  • Improve the customer experience by driving measurable improvement in the Perfect Order Index through targeted quality initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Sustain earnings by achieving Cost of Poor Quality warranty targets through proactive quality management and supplier accountability.
  • Champion AI adoption by implementing at least one AI initiative focused on replacing repetitive or highly manual quality tasks to improve team efficiency and employee experience.
  • Increase profitability by reducing Cost of Poor Quality through QPA investigations and continuous quality improvement activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Visually inspect PCBs for soldering defects, missing or wrong components, cracked traces, and foreign material per IPC standards.
  • Set up test equipment and circuitry to run functional, environmental, and life testing on products.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective, containment, and preventive actions on supplier and product quality issues through to effective closure.
  • Partner with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to define process parameters ensuring supplier process capability meets requirements.
  • Drive company quality performance metrics and prepare quality reports for management review.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education and Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or Materials.
  • Strong circuit analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Clear understanding of corrective, containment, and preventive actions.
  • Ability to review and analyze data sets to find patterns and develop root cause.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, AC/DC motors, digital logic, and a basic grasp of software/application design, web APIs, and microcontrollers.
  • Experience with ESD, LabView, Python, or Raspberry Pi.
  • Experience with SPC, Fault Tree Analysis, DFMEA/PFMEA, Weibull Analysis, Six Sigma, and RCA/RCFA.
  • Strong analytical and cross-functional root-cause facilitation skills.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment with fluency in Office Suite, Google Docs, spreadsheets, and email.

Pay Range:
$55,000-$65,000 USD
