Job description

Description Summary:

The Retail Service Operations Manager provides centralized coaching and support to branches to assist them with executing operational and service objectives within Huntington’s moderate to low-risk appetite.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Effectively resolve problems and advise on escalations or procedure exceptions by offering solutions that align within our risk appetite.
  • Prepares and executes various trainings and communications for branch colleagues including Monthly Operations Service Training and Coach’s Corner.
  • Responsible for regular communication/feedback to the Regional Service Operations Manager(s) regarding service and operational escalations and opportunities.
  • Assists with oversight of operations and service reporting and preparation for DM/RRM 1-1’s.
  • Participatein projects and support initiatives that impact branches, including branch consolidations openings/closings, relocations, and Merger/Acquisition activities as assigned.
  • Oversees response for branch incidents including robberies, branch closures, and branch resources impacts.
  • Maintains knowledge of all branch related services, technology, and procedures along with completing all required training.
  • Collaborates with other segments and support units to ensure service and operations excellence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5-7 years of related experience

  • Minimal travel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior branch and/or operations experience
  • Comfort with technology
  • Experience with MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
