Requirement - Senior Web Developer – Angular

Location- Buffalo, NY (Hybrid)(4 days onsite/1 day remote - mandatory, no exceptions)

Role Summary & Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Senior

Developer with strong expertise in Angular (16+), Node.js, CSS, Javascript , HTML5 to design and

build scalable, secure, cloud-native web applications for enterprise-wide Risk Reporting

platforms.

1. Core Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance web applications using Angular 16 + (Application

currently using v18)

• Leverage modern Angular features:

o Standalone components (module-less architecture)

o Signals for state management

o Enhanced reactivity and performance optimization

• Build interactive dashboards and reporting interfaces for enterprise risk analytics

• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js

• Integrate with RESTful or GraphQL services

• Implement secure authentication and authorization:

o Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)

• Deploy and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure

• Optimize performance (lazy loading, efficient rendering, caching)

2. Backend Development Skill (Integration Focus)

• Strong understanding of backend architecture and API design concepts to effectively

integrate frontend applications

• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs / GraphQL services developed in Node.js or

other backend technologies

• Working knowledge of microservices architecture and how distributed services

interact within enterprise systems

• Familiarity with Python Flask-based microservice APIs:

o Understand how Flask services expose endpoints for data access and

processing

o Integrate Angular web applications with these APIs for risk data visualization and

reporting

• Ability to consume and integrate APIs exposed to:

o Web applications

o Batch/job processing systems

• Understanding of job schedulers and batch processing workflows:

o Awareness of how backend jobs handle data aggregation, reporting, and periodic

processing

o Ability to align frontend behavior with backend data refresh cycles

• Ensure secure and efficient integration using:

o Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)

• Collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure seamless API consumption, data

consistency, and performance optimization

3. Cloud, DevOps & Version Control

• Microsoft Azure:

o Azure App Services / Static Web Apps

o Azure Functions

o Azure API Management

o Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage

• CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitLab

• GitLab and Git-based version control systems (Git) – branching, merging, code

reviews

4. Domain Expertise & Soft Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Risk Management systems preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and risk stakeholders
