About Us

Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we're delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data - from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.

During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.

About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We're looking for a strategic Staff Web Growth Marketing Manager who combines deep expertise in web growth marketing with a hands-on execution mindset. This role is responsible for defining and driving the strategy for our highest-impact web experiences while independently leading complex initiatives from concept through launch, experimentation, optimization, and measurement.

As a senior individual contributor, you'll operate as the company's subject matter expert for web growth, partnering closely with Web Design, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and executive stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, influence priorities, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Success in this role requires balancing long-term strategic thinking with a willingness to dive deep into execution. You'll establish scalable frameworks for experimentation, measurement, and operational excellence while remaining closely connected to the work - writing requirements, analyzing data, launching experiments, and continuously improving customer experiences.

This is a hybrid full-time position based out of our Denver, CO office, with two days per week in the office.

Technologies You'll Use

Webflow, Sanity, Optimizely, Google Analytics (GA4), Amplitude, Looker, Microsoft Clarity, Jira, Figma, and Excel/Gsheets.

What You'll Do

  • Define the long-term web growth strategy across Fivetran.com, getdbt.com, and other high-impact web experiences. Align initiatives with company objectives, user needs, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Own high-impact web growth initiatives end-to-end, from strategic planning and requirements gathering through launch, optimization, and performance analysis. Partner with Web Design and Engineering to translate plans into real experiences.
  • Drive alignment across complex and ambiguous initiatives by balancing business impact, user experience, technical feasibility, and organizational priorities to make informed decisions and move work forward.
  • Write comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs) to translate vision into strategic implementation plans that align cross-functional teams and accelerate execution.
  • Leverage behavioral analytics, user research, and market trends to identify opportunities, optimize user journeys, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and execute experimentation roadmaps across critical user journeys, including the Homepage, Navigation, Pricing, Signup, and other high-impact experiences to improve acquisition, conversion, and pipeline.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand, Product, Analytics, and executive stakeholders to influence priorities and deliver cohesive web experiences.
  • Identify emerging opportunities in AI, personalization, and web technologies, influencing roadmap direction and investment decisions that accelerate long-term business growth.
  • Mentor teammates and serve as a recognized subject matter expert, raising the strategic, operational, and execution maturity of the broader web and marketing organization.

Skills We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term web growth strategies that drive measurable business outcomes across acquisition, conversion, and pipeline generation.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, independently driving initiatives from concept through launch, measurement, and optimization.
  • Deep expertise in behavioral analytics, experimentation strategy, conversion rate optimization, and translating insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and influence, with experience aligning cross-functional and executive stakeholders on complex and ambiguous initiatives.
  • Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs, influence roadmap direction, and recommend investments based on business impact, scalability, and user needs.
  • Experience creating scalable operational frameworks and documentation that improve organizational effectiveness and raise execution quality across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to independently present recommendations, business cases, and strategic insights to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience marketing technical B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or developer-focused products.
  • Experience leveraging AI to accelerate marketing workflows and operational efficiency while applying sound judgment and governance.
  • Passion for mentoring peers and establishing scalable best practices across a team.
