Job description

Enterprise Security Product Manager

Join a high-visibility enterprise security team as it advances its SAFe Agile practice. This Product Manager will lead roadmap and backlog execution across an Agile Release Train (ART) of approximately 50 people, helping guide planning, priorities, dependencies, and communication with leadership. This is a direct hire position, 100% on-site.

What You'll Do

  • Own and communicate the ART roadmap and program backlog, balancing security risk, regulatory commitments, and business priorities.

  • Lead SAFe/Agile planning, including PI Planning, sprint cycles, scope trade-offs, dependencies, and PI objectives.

  • Prioritize work using frameworks such as WSJF and drive alignment across Product Owners, engineering, security, audit/compliance, and leadership.

  • Create dashboards and reporting for roadmap progress, delivery status, risks, dependencies, and KPIs.

  • Define features, acceptance criteria, and release readiness; coach Product Owners on backlog quality and feature decomposition.

  • Coordinate priorities and dependencies across teams and other Agile Release Trains.

  • Track outcomes including risk reduction, control coverage, audit findings, adoption, and delivery performance.

  • Drive continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt workshops and retrospectives.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years in product management, product ownership, or product-focused program leadership.

  • Strong Agile/Scrum product leadership experience; SAFe experience highly preferred.

  • Experience managing roadmaps and program backlogs across multiple teams, including PI Planning and WSJF prioritization.

  • Strong stakeholder leadership with the ability to communicate risks, priorities, and trade-offs from engineering teams through executives.

  • Working knowledge of enterprise security, including IAM, incident response, data security, application/AI security, vulnerability management, and network security.

  • Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.

  • Proficiency with Jira and Microsoft Office.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to Have

  • SAFe POPM or Lean Portfolio Management certification.

  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security credential.

  • Jira Align or similar portfolio planning experience.

  • Experience using AI-assisted tools for backlog analysis, roadmap communication, or reporting.
