The Junior Web Content Administrator role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn quickly and thrive in a highenergy. Supports the organization's digital marketing and communications initiatives by ensuring web content is accurate, technically sound, and delivered to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with websites from both a content and technical perspective.

In this position, you'll work extensively within Drupal to publish, update, and maintain web content, while ensuring adherence to established templates, workflows, and content governance standards. You'll apply your working knowledge of HTML, basic CSS, and image optimization to diagnose and resolve layout, formatting, and display issues, helping ensure content performs consistently across browsers and devices.

You'll collaborate closely with digital marketing, communications, and IT teams to coordinate content releases, support quality assurance activities, and validate changes before and after deployments. This includes reviewing pages for accuracy, responsiveness, accessibility, and overall presentation. The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working within technical environments, and the ability to balance marketing priorities with platform requirements and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Website & Content Support:

  • Update and maintain website content using Drupal (mandatory).
  • Make HTML edits and apply formatting updates.
  • Prepare and optimize images using Photoshop or similar tools.
  • Ensure all website content meets brand, accessibility, and quality standards.
  • Collect updated copy, visuals, and information from various teams.

Digital Marketing Collaboration:

  • Support digital marketing campaigns by updating banners, landing pages, and promotional content.
  • Coordinate updates with the digital marketing team and external agencies
  • Ensure all assets follow accessible requirements.
  • Assist in preparing, publishing, and reviewing content and promotions.
  • Ensure all updates follow internal guidelines and timelines.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate and timely web content visibility.

Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality-assurance testing after website releases and content updates.
  • Work with internal IT and technical teams to verify deployments and address any issues.
  • Review pages to ensure accuracy and consistency, covering formatting, hyperlinks, images, and responsive performance across different devices and browsers.
  • Identify, document, and escalate defects or inconsistencies, while assisting teams with troubleshooting and remediation.
  • Identify and fix issues related to content, such as layout, formatting, and visual display problems.

OnCall Crisis Support:

  • Duty officer, on-call rotation, during weekends and outside business hours.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in web development, Digital Marketing, Web Design, Multimedia, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and handson experience.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience supporting, maintaining, and publishing content on enterpriselevel websites.
  • Mandatory: Demonstrated, handson experience working with Drupal CMS, including content types, taxonomies, templates, and publishing workflows.
  • Mandatory: Strong working knowledge of HTML and web publishing standards, with the ability to troubleshoot markup and content issues.
  • Mandatory: Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or comparable imageediting software for optimizing webready assets (cropping, resizing, compression).
  • Solid understanding of web content governance, versioning, and quality assurance processes in a production environment.
  • Ability to work within established design systems, templates, and CMS constraints while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Exposure to UX/UI principles, usability best practices, and web accessibility standards.
  • Basic knowledge of CSS for minor styling adjustments and issue identification (asset).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools to support reporting, performance monitoring, and content optimization.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and technical stakeholders.
