Job description

Execute software test protocols for unit, integration, system and regression testing

Provide the overall guidance and development of the quality assurance strategy and test, and evaluation master plan for all phases of development

Anticipate release issues and takes corrective measures and messages to development manager all issues and concerns

Develop and maintain quality assurance metrics

Establish regular checkpoints and testing during the development effort

Report on testing results and constantly looks for quality improvement

Ensure that all deliverables meet QA goals and expectations

Create test scripts/plans, cases, and scenarios

Help review and update existing test protocol documentation and automated test cases.

Help design, document, and implement new test cases based on requirements.

Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

Document bugs in database and verify and close bugs as needed.

Help update traceability matrix as required.

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Defines objectives by analyzing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Ability to understand analysis/requirements and build/update a map to successfully deliver the appropriate implementation of Automation test cases.

Basic qualifications:

10 years of experience in a software testing role in web-based application project(s).

6+ years of experience managing, leading testing teams, leading end-to-end system integration, load testing, planning, and execution

Experience working with a Cross-Functional and Agile teams.

Strong knowledge of the Agile software development methodology and testing throughout all phases of development.

Excellent work ethics and communication skills.

Background experience in coding  technologies among (for automate tester) Selenium, Java/Groovy, SoapUI, JavaScript.

Preferred qualifications:

In addition to the basic qualifications, the ideal candidate would possess:

Degree in Computer Science or other related engineering discipline.

Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Experience in using tools such as Remedy, CMC and Version One.

Experience working on Informatica MDM, IDD, or familiarity thereof.
