Job description

We are looking for contracted PHP/MySQL web developer familiar with PHP web frameworks like CodeIgniter. Must have good knowledge of MVC, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
Web Hosting Northwest is a Oregon based company and we are  seeking a contracted  and motivated web developer to join our team. Applicants will must be able to work from home. A company laptop will be provided.
The developer will work to bring creative visions (across multiple platforms including web, mobile and iPad) to life. He or she will work with both the account management team and design team to design and build interactive solutions for clients. The developer will be responsible for building, testing, debugging and troubleshooting for various functions and modifying existing code to add new features.The ideal candidate will be a superb communicator and have experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Skills/Qualifications:
3+ years experience focused on web application development
Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery
Deep understanding of MVC frameworks, especially CodeIgniter
Expert in PHP and MySQL a must
Object oriented design and development experience
Experience integrating with payment systems and third-party APIs
Experience with eCommerce development, specifically with [ex. Magento, Drupal Commerce, and NetSuite]
Experience building web sites optimized for mobile devices and iPads

Ability to demonstrate that the above is true
Ability to work within a team as well as independently
