Job description

Position Overview

We're looking for a technically skilled and results-driven Marketing Web Developer to own, optimize, and maintain the web infrastructure that drives lead generation and customer acquisition. This role is critical in supporting our sales pipeline by ensuring our website is fast, conversion-optimized, fully trackable, and well-integrated with marketing platforms and analytics tools.

As part of the marketing team at a fast-growing window treatment brand, you'll collaborate across marketing, design, analytics, and sales teams to build experiences that convert visitors into qualified appointments.

What you'll do

Web Development

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize marketing pages (e.g., landing pages, lead forms, product detail pages).
  • Implement responsive, accessible, and conversion-optimized UI using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React, jQuery).
  • Troubleshoot bugs, maintain cross-browser and device compatibility, and ensure fast page load times.

Tracking, Analytics & QA 

  • Own all tracking implementation across website and landing pages, including GA4, Meta Pixel, CAPI (Conversions API), and other third-party platforms (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium iQ, Tealium EventStream).
  • Ensure event-level accuracy and full-funnel attribution is working properly across platforms. (FullStory, GA4)
  • Conduct regular QA on analytics implementations, lead forms, and integrations to ensure data integrity.

Marketing Technology & Integrations

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to build and iterate on lead gen funnels, custom forms, and campaign landing pages.
  • Integrate with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, or similar).
  • Support A/B testing, personalization, and dynamic content features. (VWO, AB Tasty, or Similar)
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues across paid media channels (Google Ads, Meta, etc.).

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor site performance (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores) and proactively address technical SEO or speed issues.
  • Provide input on UI/UX improvements that directly impact conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with designers to bring wireframes and creative ideas to life accurately and efficiently.

Consent Management

  • Implement and manage website consent management platforms (CMPs) to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations by implementing recommendations from legal compliance team.
  • Ensure tracking scripts (e.g., Meta Pixel, GA4, CAPI, etc.) fire conditionally based on user consent preferences.
  • Monitor and QA cookie behavior and ensure consent banners and preference centers are functioning properly across devices and regions.

Who you are

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end web development (preferably in a marketing or eCommerce context).
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C# and Visual Studio; experience with CMSs (e.g., WordPress, Sitefinity, or headless solutions).
  • Proficient in tag management and analytics platforms (GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, CAPI, Tealium).
  • Experience with form tracking, lead routing, and cross-platform tracking validation.
  • Familiar with A/B testing tools (e.g., AB Tasty, VWO, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to QA your own work, and comfort working cross-functionally.
  • Experienced with back-end basics (APIs, JSON, server-side tracking, webhook flows).

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Past experience supporting paid media campaigns and lead-gen optimization.
  • UI/UX design sensitivity or comfort working in Figma or similar tools.
  • Experience with Progress Sitefinity CMS
