How does a web developer manager typically balance hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities?

As a Web Developer Manager, you are often required to strike a balance between leading your team and participating in technical work. While your primary focus will be on managing projects, mentoring team members, and coordinating with stakeholders, many organizations expect you to stay technically involved—such as guiding architectural decisions or reviewing code. The balance can vary depending on the company's size and structure, but effective Web Developer Managers allocate time for both strategic leadership and hands-on technical tasks to maintain credibility and ensure project success.

A Web Developer Manager is a professional responsible for leading and managing a team of web developers. They oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of websites or web applications, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a web developer manager?

To thrive as a Web Developer Manager, you need a strong background in web development, team leadership experience, and often a degree in computer science or a related field.
