Government web developers often collaborate with designers, cybersecurity teams, and policymakers to provide digital services to citizens efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Web Developer Government position, and why are they important?

A Web Developer Government role requires strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web accessibility standards, and relevant government regulations, often backed by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with content management systems (such as Drupal or WordPress), secure coding practices, and federal or state-level compliance certifications (like Section 508 accessibility) is also critical.
