What you can expect in this roleย ย 

As a Spectrum intern, youโ€™ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. Youโ€™ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

  • The SOC Operational Intelligence (SOI) team builds and maintains internal automation platforms, data pipelines, and AI-powered tools that support IT operations across the enterprise. The team develops full-stack web applications, ETL pipelines that sync data from systems like Jira, Ivanti, and Datadog into centralized reporting databases, Webex bots for operational workflows, and AI agent integrations. The intern will contribute directly to production software used by operations teams, gaining hands-on experience in a modern Python-heavy development environment with real business impact.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based data pipelines

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
