Job description

Title: Database Developer (PL/SQL, Postgres)

Location: Remote (U.S. based; must be available during Pacific Time business hours)

Pay: $60-70/hr


This role supports the development of database and BI layers in custom web applications. It involves database programming, data migration, and support activities within complex IT environments. Candidates must bring expert-level SQL skills, cloud experience, and a strong grasp of modern database technologies.


Your role:

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable database solutions
  • Support and optimize data migration, transformation, and integration processes
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement database solutions
  • Ensure code quality and standard compliance through reviews and documentation
  • Contribute to DevOps efforts including CI/CD and version control
  • Participate in system maintenance, upgrades, and vulnerability patching
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL
  • ServerCloud: Experience with AWS (2–3 years minimum), Azure preferred


What you’ve got:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in database programmingStrong knowledge of data modeling and software architecture design
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable with excellent communication skills
