Description
Summary
Provides administrative support for the EMS Program and serves as a liaison between the public, the EMS department, affiliated clinical agencies and instructors. This position will report directly to Dean of EMS.
Knowledge & Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Provides support to the EMS Program
  • Serves as a liaison between the EMS Department, affiliated clinical agencies, the public and instructors.
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders.
  • Greets customers as necessary and provides information to students.
  • Uses appropriate software, develops, transcribes, assembles and disseminates information.
  • Assists with maintaining instructor and student databases; keeps student and instructor files current.
  • Builds and reviews course set up packets as needed
  • Builds instructor contracts as needed and assists with disbursement of instructor contracts for monthly payroll
  • Assists with updating on-line content, distribution of promotional materials, and vendors/contractors/staff communication.
  • Assists with creating, revising, and implementing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms control, and personnel requirements; assists with implementing changes as appropriate.
  • Maintains a complex filing system and processes confidential information.
  • Maintains supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies in collaboration with the Dean of EMS.
  • Edits, proofreads and compiles appropriate reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
