The UpCounty HUB was developed during the pandemic to meet the needs of local families. The Hub provides food and families for those living in the Upper Montgomery County Region.
 
Position Summary: Communications Coordinator will develop, lead, and manage all strategic marketing and communications efforts for the UpCounty HUB. The Communications Coordinator serves as the primary resource for brand development and strategy, marketing efforts across all departments, public relations, web content and development, and creative design. The director will also oversee data management.
 
Essential Duties:
Ø Part-time 25-30 hours weekly in office. 
Ø Develop and implement marketing plans that tell a cohesive narrative that speaks to clients, donors,  
    employees, partners and community leaders.
Ø Manage web and social media channels to promote marketing activity aligned with overall strategy 
    and priorities.
Ø Work collaboratively with staff to ensure consistency in message and voice.
Ø  Design and maintain system for, and supervise, the daily collection of data for services provided by the HUB.
Ø  Support the Grant Manager with timely information necessary for grant applications and reports.
Ø  Prepare a mid-year and end of year Annual Report detailing …

Position Requirements:
Ø 3-5 years of experience in a marketing and or communications role.
Ø Expert written, editing and oral communication skills.
Ø A understanding of and keen interest in cultural diversity, racial equity, and community social services.
Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and web 
    management software (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.)  
Ø Proficiency with email marketing software (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact) and experience in developing 
    email campaigns.
Ø Experience shooting and directing video content preferred. 
Ø Ability to understand, translate, apply writing style and technique, and drive messaging to a diverse range of 
    audiences.
Ø Interact tactfully and effectively with other professionals.
Ø Have a commitment to the mission of the HUB in providing essential services to our community
