Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Ensure correct stock and inks.
  2. Make quality related decisions utilizing product specification testing.
  3. Mix ink and take viscosities to maintain required colors.
  4. Take viscosities of inks/maintain.
  5. Prepare the press for the succeeding press run by performing line clearance procedures.
  6. Perform and document all the necessary testing of both raw materials and finished products using established company test methods.
  7. Perform entries into the computer system for raw materials.
  8. Perform all necessary preventative maintenance as required.
  9. Provide necessary communication at shift change.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Web handling fundamentals.
  • Must be able to read standard ruler measurements.
  • Beginner level computer skills.
  • English language verbal and written communication skills.
  • High school math skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members.
  • Proficient at color matching.
  • Must be able to pass a color proficiency test and color blindness test.
