Job description

Job Summary:
Datasoft Technologies, Inc. is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US. The Senior Web Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and database systems in a healthcare IT environment using Microsoft .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server.
Responsibilities:
• Design database objects (tables, views, indexes)
• Develop ad-hoc queries in MS SQL Server
• Build and maintain database objects using T-SQL
• Develop APIs and web services for real-time integrations
• Write, document, and maintain code per standards
• Perform system analysis based on user requirements
• Manage production deployments (applications & databases)
• Handle code promotion and change management processes
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Process change tickets and implement updates
• Work with source control systems (Azure DevOps, TFS, VSTS)
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives
• Update product backlog and complete assigned work items
• Provide daily support and issue resolution
• Share weekly and monthly status updates
• Perform project management activities
• Provide user support and troubleshoot issues
• Monitor and optimize system performance
• Ensure system reliability and efficiency
• Follow all data security and confidentiality policies
• Ensure compliance with department standards
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years in: Object-oriented development
• 10+ years in: Microsoft .NET, MVC, C#
• 10+ years in: Entity Framework, NuGet, GitHub
• 10+ years in: Web application server administration
• 10+ years in: Monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning
• 7+ years in: Change management and code promotion
• 7+ years in: Source control systems (Azure DevOps, TFS, VSTS)
• 7+ years in: Build and release management
• 7+ years in: API/Web Services development
• 5+ years in: Crystal Reports
• 5+ years in: Healthcare IT domain (Agile)
• 3+ years in: Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)
• Certification: DevOps Foundation (or higher)
• Mandatory criminal background check (including fingerprinting)
• Travel reimbursement only if pre-approved
• Must comply with all department policies and procedures
Preferred:
• Experience in healthcare/public sector systems
• Experience in government environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills
