My Client is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut and has over 1,200 employees in its offices in the USA, Switzerland, Canada, Hong Kong, UK, Australia, Hungary, Russia, Japan, India, China and Estonia. My Client is regulated by the SEC, FINRA, NYSE, FCA and other regulatory agencies around the world.
Job Description
1. Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications for client's web-based account registration, account maintenance, tax, and compliance systems.
2. Typical projects will be focused on web client/web server development and include middleware and backend integration.
3. The majority of development will be using Java and Java Script with some exposure to PL/SQL, Python, Unix shell scripts and other general-purpose languages and tools.
Qualifications
1. BS/MS Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
2. Strong knowledge of programming concepts and algorithms
3. Strong knowledge of Java or similar general purpose OO language.
4. Experience with browser markup and scripting (JScript, HTML5)
5. Experience with database backed web applications.
6. Experience with concurrency
7. Prior experience (including college projects) with interactive Web applications.
8. Familiar with web applications, concepts, and tools
