Job description

As an Account Manager, the primary objective is to provide day-to-day support to the client and Dane Street's VP of Account Management. The Account Manager will serve as a focal point of contact for all clients/projects to which they are assigned by managing communication with these specific clients, which includes working cross-functionally with various internal Dane Street teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Managing communication for a targeted list of Workers' Compensation and Health Plan accounts around program and case-related questions, issue detection and resolution, department escalations with a focus on account growth and development
  • Facilitate implementation meetings, configure client profiles, manage user access permissions, and coordinate go-live requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients by leading regular performance reviews (JOCs/QBRs), addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints.
  • Generate, validate, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics while managing ad-hoc data requests to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with the sales pipeline by participating in scoping meetings, preparing pricing models, supporting RFP/RFI responses, and collaborating on marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate contract (SOW/Addendum) renewals with legal teams.
  • Partner with IT and Product teams on system enhancements and user testing based on operational and client feedback.
  • Coordinate audits, security assessments, and remediation plans with compliance and regulatory teams.
  • Align client capacity requirements with recruitment priorities, ensuring network coverage meets regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements
Education/Credentials
  • An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Clinical experience preferred (LPB, RN, or CPHT)

Job-Relevant Experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a strong sense of urgency to meet our clients' expectations
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Strong research skills with the ability to analyze and report data
  • 2-3 years of related experience (Account Management or Account Management support)
  • Workers' Comp, Health Plan, PBM Utilization Review, Managed Care, or Claims background preferred
  • Experience navigating web-based systems efficiently
