Job description

Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Senior Accessibility Engineer to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and mentor other developers. The role focuses on developing accessible web applications and requires a strong understanding of various web technologies and accessibility guidelines.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Knowledge of Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 level A and AA) and ability to mentor other developers.
• Knowledge of HTML 4 and 5, ARIA, CSS 2 and 3, JavaScript, Typescript
• Automated testing and building Single Page web application experience.
• Thoroughly understands software development methodology and architecture standards
• 5-8 years developer experience, 2 years accessibility experience
Preferred:
• Assistive technology knowledge and experience is a plus (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and ZoomText).
• Development experience with Angular, React, and JavaScript/typescript frameworks is a plus
• Working Knowledge of AWS Platform is a plus; such as but not limited to S3, EC2, Postgres, DynamoDB, ECS Fargate, Lamda
• Tableau experience
