We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Web Applications to lead the strategy, governance, and operational excellence of our enterprise web platforms. This role owns the organization's Sitecore CMS environment and web application ecosystem, ensuring our digital properties are secure, compliant, high-performing, and aligned with broader marketing and business objectives.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical advisor on web applications to business units across the organization, manage key vendor and agency relationships, and lead a team that includes offshore resources. This position requires a leader who can balance hands-on platform ownership with strategic vendor management, budget oversight, and cross-functional collaboration, while thriving under tight timelines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

How you will make an impact:

Platform Architecture & Governance

  • Own the Sitecore CMS platform, including version 9.2 and AI/XM Cloud.
  • Ensure adherence to internal web governance and policy standards.
  • Champion reusable development standards and components across the organization.

Web Operations & Delivery

  • Monitor digital performance across SEO, uptime, site performance, best practices, and accessibility.
  • Oversee delivery timelines and resource planning for new components and website launches.
  • Lead implementation of enterprise form solutions, including Pardot, Sitecore, and Formstack.

Security, Privacy & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with privacy, CCPA, and cookie policies across applicable jurisdictions.
  • Oversee website security across key partners and assessment platforms, including ISS, BitSight, and Bishop Fox.
  • Lead web compliance and migration efforts for newly acquired businesses.

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Manage the annual hosting budget and monthly agency retainer.
  • Manage strategic vendor relationships, including American Eagle, Vercel, and Sitecore.
  • Assess and prioritize tools that enhance website functionality and integration.
  • Oversee deployment of key digital tools, including OneTrust, Silktide, and Google Tag Manager.

Integrations & Platform Ecosystem

  • Drive integrations with adjacent platforms, including Commerce Cloud, DAMs, CRMs, and translation services.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary technical web applications advisor to business units.
  • Lead and manage the offshore team.

What you will bring to the role:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or a closely related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • 7+ years of experience leading enterprise web application platforms, digital experience platforms, or CMS environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Sitecore CMS, including version 9.2 and AI/XM Cloud, or comparable enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise form and marketing automation solutions such as Pardot and Formstack.
  • Working knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations, including CCPA, and cookie compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing website security assessments and related vendor relationships (e.g., ISS, BitSight, Bishop Fox).
  • Proven experience managing hosting budgets, agency retainers, and vendor contracts.
  • Experience integrating web platforms with adjacent systems, including Commerce Cloud, DAMs, CRMs (specifically Salesforce), and translation/localization services, such as Lionbridge and Sitecore Translate.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage offshore or globally distributed teams.
  • Experience leading web compliance and migration efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
  • Deep understanding of modern web development technologies and strong command of digital marketing strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to business units and influence across organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities under tight timelines and budget constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs.  The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of AI applications in marketing and web personalization.
  • Experience with digital governance and tagging tools such as OneTrust, Silktide, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Understanding of web development technologies like HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React and Next.js.
  • Experience deploying and governing websites on Vercel or similar modern hosting/deployment platforms.
  • Familiarity with vendor management frameworks, SOW development, and contract negotiation.

Success Profile:

The ideal candidate combines strong command of marketing strategy and digital initiatives with deep technical expertise in modern web development and Sitecore. They operate effectively under tight timelines and budget constraints, act decisively, and deliver practical, high-impact solutions. They communicate with influence, build alignment across organizational levels, and collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and time zones, including with offshore team members.
