We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Procurement Analyst position located in Provo, Utah. The individual we are looking for is someone who enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level. This position will monitor inventory movements, analyze trends, forecast demand, and collaborate with various teams to implement strategies to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and support other assigned business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including Field Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Strategy

  • Develop seasonal product forecasts

  • Maintain the product database in the inventory management system, including pricing, manufacturer, and distributor part numbers

  • Reconcile requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices related to a 3-way match process

  • Develop reports that enable Field Operations to optimize product usage and identify waste and theft

  • Identify opportunities/gaps in current inventory and procurement systems and build processes to minimize those gaps

  • Manage automated replenishment through setting reorder points, identifying safety stock quantities, and setting min/max levels

  • Manage item categories and identify priority items by spend and volume

  • Develop processes to identify and correct inventory shortages at Aptive service centers

  • Become an expert in our ERP system, as it relates to Inventory Management and the flowthrough to the P&L

  • Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock and develop recommended appropriate actions

  • Manage the inventory count process, including generating count sheets, and following up with Field Ops about missing counts

  • Manage the PO and requisition process, including closing or cancelling obsolete POs and requisitions

  • Manage vendors, including: add/delete user online accounts, maintain the online vendor catalogs, request new/test product information, follow up with vendors about out-of-stocks, late orders, warehouse inventory levels, new product ETAs, create distributor KPIs, including fill rates, on-time deliveries

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or experience as a Procurement Analyst or similar role, preferably handling high-value inventory

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of procurement experience

  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Google Docs, Google Sheets

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement, supply chain management, inventory control, contract

  • administration, vendor management, and strategic sourcing principles.

  • Proficiency with procurement and business systems, including ERP platforms, Google Workspace,

  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro, with the ability to analyze and interpret operational data

  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to balance operational needs, financial considerations, and organizational priorities

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage cross-functional initiatives, and develop effective working relationships across all levels of the organization
