Job description

This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs and funding availability. We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Weapons System Analyst to support multi-discipline Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations within Air Combat Command (ACC). This role provides critical analytic, operational, and technical support across ISR analysis, collection management, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED), and multi-INT fusion efforts.
The selected candidate will deliver fused intelligence products, support ISR operations in real-world and contingency environments, and contribute to the advancement of data-centric intelligence tradecraft, tools, and processes. This position requires strong analytical expertise, familiarity with weapons systems and ISR capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in a high-tempo operational environment.
Essential Responsibilities: (describe the day-to-day)
  • Analyze weapons systems, associated ISR capabilities, and operational performance in support of mission requirements.
  • Assess readiness and operational effectiveness of assigned systems and forces.
  • Provide operational intelligence supporting targeting, mission planning, and execution
  • Produce single and multi-discipline correlated and fused ISR intelligence products in support of multi-echelon command requirements.
  • Apply analytical tradecraft to support intelligence problem sets, including trend analysis, pattern analysis, and network analysis
  • Utilize ISR data sources, databases, and analytical tools to generate actionable intelligence within required timelines.
  • Adhere to established Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and operational guidance
  • Assist in developing mission qualification training and certification materials.
  • Support execution of initial and recurring training programs for ISR personnel

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
The position supports sensitive operations and demands strict adherence to IC and Air Force analytic tradecraft standards, information security requirements, and professional ethics.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Candidates must meet all basic-level DOD 8140 Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) requirements code 111
  • Familiarity with IC and Air Force intelligence tradecraft standards, including Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203 analytic standards
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-discipline ISR analysis, collection management and PED processes, and intelligence production and reporting
  • Strong understanding of ISR systems, capabilities, and operational applications
  • Familiarity with collection management systems and workflows
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and briefing skills

Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to comply with all DoD, Air Force, and IC security and conduct standards
  • Ability to complete and maintain required training throughout contract performance

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI eligibility with a favorable Tier 5 (T5) investigation.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or have an associate's degree with an additional 4 years of related experience for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the bachelor's degree.
Minimum Years of Experience: 6 years of knowledge or information management experience, with at least a portion of experience within the last two years.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with weapons systems analysis and operational intelligence.
  • Experience supporting ACC ISR, AOC, or AF DCGS operations.
  • Understanding of Air Force and Joint targeting doctrine and target development processes
  • Experience with multi-INT fusion and enterprise intelligence capabilities
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and advanced analytics
  • Experience working in dynamic, high-tempo operational environments

The base salary range for this position is $75k to $122k. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
