Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Wealth Advisor role based in Northern Virginia. The Wealth Advisor serves as the primary relationship manager for assigned client relationships and prospective clients. They will meet with clients regularly to understand their goals, assess their financial situations, and deliver comprehensive financial advice across planning disciplines.

Job Activities
  • Serve as the lead advisor and primary point of contact for assigned client relationships.

  • Develop and present comprehensive financial plans and ongoing planning recommendations.

  • Conduct regular client review meetings and proactively identify planning opportunities.

  • Coordinate retirement, tax, estate, education, insurance, and investment planning strategies.

  • Collaborate with the firm's tax, financial planning, and investment teams.

  • Manage client onboarding and transition processes.

  • Provide guidance regarding portfolio construction and investment implementation.

  • Review planning analyses and recommendations prepared by associates.

  • Participate in business development activities and referral relationships.

  • Participate in the Client Investment Committee.

  • Leverage technology to efficiently deliver best-in-class service.

Qualifications
  • CFP® certification in good standing.

  • Minimum of five years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory services.

  • Experience leading client meetings and managing ongoing client relationships.

  • Strong knowledge of retirement, tax, estate, investment, and risk management planning concepts.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional designations such as CPA, CFA®, or EA are preferred.

  • Familiarity with financial planning software, CRM systems, and portfolio management tools; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
