Job description

Description:

Find your place at The Partners Group, a purpose-driven company committed to making a difference in our community through our work and inspiring others to do the same.

TPG’s success is driven by a culture that values partnerships. We’re looking for people who invest in their relationships, seek to learn, create winning solutions for all, and do what they say they are going to do. Hard work goes without saying at TPG, supported by our culture that thrives on having fun while living well. This is what it means to be a partner for our clients and teammates.

Are you ready to join an amazing organization that has won too many “Employer of Choice” awards to list? Let’s work together!

The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for a relationship-driven business development professional to join our Wealth Management team based in Portland, OR as a Wealth Management Consultant.

This role is ideal for someone who excels at building trusted relationships, creating new opportunities through their network, and connecting people with services that can make a meaningful impact on their lives.

How you will make an impact at TPG

As a Wealth Management Consultant, you will play a central role in expanding TPG’s Wealth Management presence by identifying and connecting qualified prospects with our advisory team. By developing meaningful referral networks and cultivating new relationships, you directly contribute to the growth of client portfolios and the long-term strength of our Wealth Management division. Your ability to engage prospects, understand their needs, qualify opportunities, and introduce them to the right experts ensures a seamless and high-quality client experience from the first interaction. Rather than selling a product, you'll help connect people to a team that can make a meaningful difference in their financial future and long-term peace of mind.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on building authentic relationships, enjoys being active in the community, and takes pride in creating opportunities through a strong network of professional connections. It’s an ideal fit for a self-directed professional who is naturally curious, highly collaborative, and energized by connecting people with solutions that can make a lasting difference for them, their families, and their future.

A typical day in this role

  • Build and nurture relationships with centers of influence, referral partners, and prospective clients to generate new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan to identify and engage individuals and families who may benefit from TPG’s wealth management services
  • Qualify prospective opportunities and partner with Wealth Management advisors and internal team to ensure a smooth transition from prospect engagement to advisory conversations
  • Participate in community events, industry functions, and networking opportunities to expand TPG’s visibility and presence
  • Manage prospect and client interactions with professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail
  • Track business development activity and pipeline progress using CRM tools to support consistent sales execution

  • Active involvement in local community, civic, or industry organizations that support network growth

Why join The Partners Group?

At TPG, you’ll be part of one of the largest independently owned insurance brokerages in the Pacific Northwest where collaboration, integrity, and a client-first mindset guide everything that we do. We foster a supportive, professional environment that values expertise, teamwork, and long-term growth - and we invest in our people so they can do their best work. This includes:

This is a place where all employees have the opportunity to achieve their goals and meet the needs of our clients and the communities we serve.
