We are looking for a Senior Wealth Advisor (SWM) to help bring our mission to life. The SWM is an important team member and directly delivers value to our clients. What You'll Do
We are looking for an experienced Senior Wealth Manager to deliver a high level of personalized, attentive service to our clients, serving as a primary resource for all financial needs. You have experience making a positive impact on clients' lives. You are a proactive learner, who produces results amid varying work demands. As a growing company, Bluerock offers plentiful opportunities for internal growth and career development. You will report to a Partner of the practice.
  • Be a resource for clients on investments, tax planning, estate planning, insurance, education and retirement planning
  • Conduct in-depth reviews for clients and prospective clients
  • Develop financial plans and strategies
  • Facilitate meetings with clients and potential clients
  • Identify opportunities or pitfalls that may be present when it comes to all facets of a client's financial picture
  • Stay informed about the landscape of financial planning, including economic, legal, and investment trends, and general market developments and challenges that may affect affluent clients
  • Work with members of the operations, planning and investment teams to create/incorporate best practices
  • Collaborate with CPAs, attorneys and other Centers of Influence to meet client goals and needs
  • Assist partners with business development including closing leads and helping increase client wallet share

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting.
  • 7+ years in client facing role.
  • CFP®, CPA or CFA designation required.
  • Detailed knowledge of tax knowledge is required.
  • Detailed knowledge of complex estate planning concepts and implementation.
  • Familiarity with the aspects of working with small business owners and physicians.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Black Diamond, BNA, eMoney, Fidelity and Schwab platforms.
  • Ability to get started with building trust with existing and new clients.
  • Knowledge of the fee-only space will be given preference.
