Job description

Deliver meaningful advice. Work at scale. Make a real impact.
ย
Looking for a role where you can do more than support an advisor from the sidelines? As a Financial Advisor at Savant, youโ€™ll step into meaningful client relationships, partner with experienced senior advisors, and help deliver comprehensive planning advice that makes a real impact. This is a growth-focused opportunity for an advisor who wants hands-on client exposure, a collaborative team behind them, and a clear path to build referral relationships, expand their influence, and develop into a stronger advisory professional.
ย
In this role, you can expect to focus in the following areas:
  • Serve as a co-advisor for existing client relationships, including documenting meetings and contacts, co-leading meetings, hosting standalone meetings, and taking the lead on routine and follow-up client communication.
  • Coordinate the comprehensive financial planning process in partnership with the Planning Team, including new client updates, portfolio changes, reviews, returns, and new opportunity identification.
  • Support new client relationship development by participating in prospect and new client planning meetings, managing client communications, and coordinating follow-up workflow for new clients.
  • Build and execute a business development plan by growing your referral network, retaining clients, expanding wallet share, and generating new leads through personal prospecting and centers of influence.
  • Develop fluency in Savantโ€™s IFP Roadmap Process and Investment Processes so you can confidently communicate our services to prospective clients and referral sources.
  • Adopt core Advisor AI tools to improve day-to-day efficiency, including AI note-taking, AI-driven client meeting insights, and data tools that support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain a team-first approach by collaborating with colleagues, assisting where needed, and filling in for others to support exceptional client service.
ย
A couple things to note about our Financial Advisor position:
  • This role focuses on servicing and managing existing client relationships as a co-advisor while continuing to build client-facing advisory experience.
  • Financial Advisor team members are expected to gain trust with clients and teammates, actively contribute in client meetings, and increasingly anticipate client needs with minimal oversight.
  • The ideal candidate brings a client-first mindset, strong follow-through, attention to detail, professionalism, curiosity, and a desire to grow within a collaborative advisory team.
The Financial Advisor position typically requires the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an advisory support role, with demonstrated ability to develop and manage financial plans and client relationships.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred.
  • Certified Financial Plannerโ„ข certification preferred upon hire or attained within two years of date of hire.
  • Financial planning and wealth management acumen, judgment, and experience.
  • Ability to prepare and present basic financial planning concepts to clients.
  • Ability to build business development networks and begin acquiring new clients.
  • Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and timely follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and financial planning and securities balancing software.
  • Client-first attitude and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Understanding of and adherence to Savantโ€™s investment philosophy, code of ethics, and regulatory compliance expectations.
  • All Financial Advisor applicants must have a clean U4 with no disclosures.
  • Employment in this position will require a signed non-compete agreement, except in states where prohibited.
ย
