Job Description

The Wealth Management Post Underwriter supports the Commercial Post Underwriting function within Wealth Management by managing the loan fulfillment process following underwriting approval. This role serves as a key partner to bankers, documentation preparation teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure approved loans progress efficiently through documentation, execution, and funding.

Responsibilities include reviewing approved loan packages and supporting documentation, entering and maintaining information within internal systems, coordinating with documentation preparation partners, and validating completed loan documents for accuracy and completeness. The Post Underwriter works closely with bankers throughout the document execution process, identifies and resolves documentation deficiencies, and helps ensure loans meet all requirements for funding readiness. This position plays a critical role in delivering a high-quality client and banker experience while supporting the Bank's risk management, operational, and compliance standards.


Required Qualifications:
-Associate's degree in business, finance, or related field, equivalent professional experience considered
-Two to three or more years of experience in loan documentation, loan operations or related banking functions
Preferred Qualifications:
-Comprehensive understanding of loan documentation requirements, including collateral, vesting, and ownership structures
-Demonstrated knowledge of applicable banking regulations, policies, and compliance standards
-Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement in identifying and resolving discrepancies
-Proficiency in banking systems and Microsoft Office applications
-Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a regulated, fast-paced environment

Location expectations:
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Pay Range: $27.50 - $36.68
