As a District Sales Manager located in Wisconsin for FMH, you will be required to travel throughout this region calling on existing or prospective customers to solicit business, offer assistance, or address issues as needed to build and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships within the desired territory.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: One to five years of job-related experience.
  • Education: Associates degree in Business or Agriculture-related field.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills a must. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to develop and deliver presentations to small and large groups. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and premium.
  • Extensive travel is required for this position. Must at all times maintain a valid driver's license and clean MVR, own a motor vehicle (car, truck, SUV) and/or drive a company vehicle and maintain adequate levels of insurance on that motor vehicle as determined by the Company, adhere to the guidelines provided in the Company Fleet Manual, submit expenses in accordance with the Travel and Expense Guidelines for Field Employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifies, appoints, and develops prospective agency business partners through heavy prospecting and cold calling.
  • Presents, promotes, and sells FMH products and services to agents.
  • Establishes and fosters agent relationships.
  • Maintains a vast knowledge of FMH products, sales materials, and competitor products.
  • Educates agents on FMH products, systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinates with claims, precision, underwriting, and Strategic Account Manager to address any issues that impact agents and customers within assigned territory.
