WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in State College, Pennsylvania.

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking dedicated and experienced registered nurses to join our Labor and Delivery unit.   • Assess childbearing women (adolescence to middle adulthood), neonates, and family needs.
  • Develop and implement a plan of care to meet identified needs.
  • Perform initial assessment and stabilization of the neonate.
  • Evaluate nursing care based on outcomes for the population served.
  • Teach self-care and newborn care to patients and families.
  • Promote understanding of family relationships' influence on health status.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines for families at risk.
  • Facilitate interaction between family members to promote bonding.
  • Maintain knowledge, skills, and competency in the care of women and infants.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
  • Completion of an accredited registered nurse program.
  • Current Pennsylvania RN licensure.
  • Must be experienced in EPIC.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewed every two years.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, renewed every two years.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, renewed every two years.
  • Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance.
