Job Title: Medical Logistics Supply Specialist (Supply Technician)

Location: Soldier Readiness Processing Center (SRP), William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), 18511 Highlander Medics St, Fort Bliss, TX 79906, and outlying clinics.

Tentative Start Date: 1 April 2026

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 0500-1630 (SRP operational hours). Up to 48 mission-driven overage hours per FTE may be required annually beyond regularly scheduled duty hours, as authorized by the Government.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school equivalent and have a minimum of one year of college education or vocational training.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of inventory management experience working as a supply or warehouse manager during the last three (3) years.

  • Experience receiving, issuing, storing, and tracking medical supplies, equipment, or consumables.

  • Experience maintaining inventory records and reconciling stock levels to support operational requirements.

  • License / Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.

  • Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) operations by managing medical supplies and logistical support during mobilization, demobilization, redeployment, and separation activities.

  • Receive, inspect, store, and issue medical supplies, equipment, and consumables required for SRP clinical stations.

  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted support of daily SRP operations and surge events.

  • Track medical supply usage and replenish stock to meet mission demand.

  • Assemble and distribute supply kits or materials required for specific SRP processing stations.

  • Coordinate with clinical sections to resolve supply shortages, substitutions, or urgent requirements.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation in Government-designated logistics or supply systems.

  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of medical supplies in accordance with applicable procedures.

  • Support surge logistics operations during peak MOB/DEMOB cycles, including extended duty hours when mission required.
