The Production Supervisor is responsible for the planning, production, housekeeping, and safety compliance in their assigned project. They generally are responsible for specific projects that they are assigned to.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform all duties in accordance with company safety rules, operating regulations and practices and report unsafe conditions or acts.

  • Work with blueprints when installing electrical systems in office buildings and other structures.

  • Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including lighting, climate control.

  • Able to indicate on blueprints the location of circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, and other equipment.

  • Install new electrical equipment.

  • Able to replace items such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wire.

  • Must train and supervise Green Helpers.

  • Have a basic understanding of conduit, wire and device installation for digital fire alarm systems.

  • Interact with sub-code officials, project managers, and clients in a professional manner

  • Monitor job progress and employee development needs by walking the jobsite, providing feedback to the team, and making suggestions on labor or job changes to improve progress and results.


Job Qualifications:


  • Five (5) years of experience as a journeyman electrician, and preferably at least three (3) years as a supervisor in the electrical field.

  • The appropriate candidate will be able to manage 5-7 subordinates.

  • Able to interpret and implement blueprint specifications.

  • Should have mechanical aptitude.

  • Must understand and perform required math functions.

  • Should possess a North Carolina State Journeyman License.

  • Must Possess a valid driver’s license or the ability to transport to and from assigned job sites.

  • Knowledgeable of National Electric Code and comply with State and local building codes during the installation of electrical systems.

  • Capable of laying out complex conduit systems.


Preferred Qualifications and Education:


  • High School Graduate/GED
