Job description

Position: Wave Soldering Machine Operator
Location: Anaheim, CA
Hours: 7am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $20.00

Position Summary
The Wave Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring wave soldering equipment used in the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing process. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor wave soldering machines and aqueous cleaning equipment.
  • Load, unload, and inspect printed circuit board assemblies throughout the production process.
  • Perform routine machine checks and adjustments to ensure proper operation and product quality.
  • Inspect assemblies for solder quality and workmanship in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation as required.

Qualified Candidates Will Have
  • At least 1 year of experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Experience working with wave soldering machines and aqueous cleaning equipment is a plus
  • Experience and familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is a plus
  • Experience with printed circuit board assembly and manufacturing processes. Is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to accurately complete production documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
