Role and Responsibilities:
As Janitor for WaterSaver Faucet, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of our manufacturing facility and its grounds.

  • Follow safety procedures by handling equipment and supplies according to company protocols.
  • Perform daily cleaning of restrooms, loading/receiving docks, stockroom, shipping area, assembly floor, machine shop.
  • Collect trash and debris on company property, including plant beds and parking lots.
  • Perform outdoor maintenance on a seasonal basis including shoveling snow off walkways and driveways, as needed.
  • Perform weekly plant-wide preventative cleaning/maintenance including inspecting and testing emergency exit lights, cleaning fire alarm/strobe lights/sirens and checking internal and external safety lights.
  • Perform monthly plant-wide cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks including inspecting fire extinguishers, cleaning compressor room, cleaning dock doors, etc.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum 2-3 years related experience required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/commercial/industrial setting preferred.
  • Must be able to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 40 lbs.
