Position Overview

Blanchard Caulking & Coating is seeking a dependable and motivated


Waterproofing Field Applicator to join our growing team.

The Waterproofing Field Applicator is responsible for performing high-quality waterproofing, caulking, coating, and restoration applications on commercial construction projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team while meeting project deadlines.


The ideal candidate has experience in waterproofing, construction, coatings, or related trades and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform waterproofing applications including caulking, sealants, coatings, and deck coating systems.
  • Complete restoration work including tuck pointing, parking garage restoration, and related repair applications.
  • Apply coatings and waterproofing materials with precision to ensure long-term durability and water resistance.
  • Perform proper surface preparation including cleaning, masking, grinding, priming, and other required preparation procedures.
  • Identify and address potential issues including cracks, leaks, and surface deficiencies.
  • Safely operate equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, ladders, and other specialized tools required for waterproofing applications.
  • Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and company standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites throughout the duration of each project.
  • Communicate effectively with project supervisors and team members regarding job progress and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work when required.
  • Attend employee meetings and participate in company training opportunities.
  • Accept responsibility for the proper care, custody, and use of company equipment, tools, materials, and other company assets.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance and accountability.
  • Previous experience in waterproofing, caulking, coatings, restoration, or commercial construction preferred.
  • Experience with deck coatings, tuck pointing, and parking garage restoration is a plus.
  • Ability to safely operate construction equipment; certifications are a plus.
  • Understanding construction safety practices and job site requirements.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in elevated work environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions and meet project deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to quality workmanship.
