Company Description OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark is a world-class destination located along the Oklahoma River in the Horizons District near downtown Oklahoma City. The resort features riverfront and lagoon views, an expansive outdoor adventure lagoon with sandy beaches, and Oklahoma City’s only swim-up bar. Guests enjoy a 100,000+ square foot indoor waterpark, a vibrant family entertainment center, and over 39,000 square feet of conference and meeting space. The property also offers a spa, state-of-the-art golf simulator, diverse retail options, and multiple food and beverage outlets, all connected to the cultural experience of the nearby First Americans Museum. OKANA is designed as a premier, family-friendly destination with something for visitors of all ages.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Reservations Agent role is based at OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark in Oklahoma City, OK. The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries to assist guests with room, package, and amenity reservations. Daily tasks include providing accurate information about resort offerings, rates, and availability, entering and updating reservation details in the system, and confirming bookings in a timely manner. The role also involves coordinating with front desk, sales, and operations teams to support group bookings and special requests, and resolving guest questions or issues with a focus on service and hospitality. This position requires consistent, professional communication to ensure a welcoming experience from the first contact.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to handle guest inquiries courteously and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in handling Reservations, including booking, modifying, and canceling stays accurately in reservation systems.
  • Professional Phone Etiquette, with experience managing high call volumes while maintaining a friendly and calm demeanor.
  • Experience with Receptionist Duties, such as managing incoming inquiries, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining organized records.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel or resort reservation software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and reliable time management, especially during peak guest activity.
  • Ability to work on-site in Oklahoma City, OK, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a hospitality environment.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, tourism, or front desk/reservations roles is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
