Waterjet Operator

Wages: $18 - $22/hour

Duties / Responsibilities     

  • Operate waterjet cutting equipment to cut materials precisely
  • Load materials and ensure proper alignment
  • Monitor cutting process and adjust settings as needed
  • Inspect finished parts for quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications               

  • Experience with CNC or waterjet machines preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer or machine interface skills
  • Ability to lift materials and work on fee

Hours & Work Conditions   

Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday

Hours: 6 AM to 2:30 PM

Work Environment: Warehouse

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hour shifts in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of materials up to 50 lbs
  • Repetitive use of hands and arms, including grasping, reaching, and handling materials
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment around machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail for operating equipment and handling products
  • Ability to safely operate or work around industrial equipment
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
