Who we are looking for
We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on the automotive production floor and knows how to bring out the best in a team. You communicate clearly, stay calm when the unexpected happens, and take pride in hitting program goals without compromising safety or quality.. You likely bring 3-6 years of manufacturing experience with at least 1-2 years leading a team, emphasis on driving a Lean Manufacturing culture, strong mechanical aptitude, and solid hand tool knowledge-ideally with hands-on experience on machines like layup, consolidator, waterjet, CNC router, and/or press. Just as important, you're a coach and mentor at heart, with the judgment to make sound decisions and the drive to keep improving..
What you will get to do
As a Production Supervisor in our automotive value stream, you'll take ownership of daily production and the team that makes it happen-setting clear goals, coaching leads and operators, and keeping the line running at capacity.. You'll monitor performance and metrics, track and resolve downtime, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement across your area.. Along the way, you'll ensure equipment stays in top shape, champion a safe work environment, uphold the quality standards our automotive customers demand, and collaborate across departments to keep safety, quality, and production information flowing throughout the facility
What you bring to the team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3-6 years of production experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Experience in utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools & concepts, such as 5S, Gemba, Kanban, Kaizen
  • Experience on the following machines strongly preferred: layup, consolidator, waterjet, CNC router, and/or press.
