Job Summary

ClearWater Solutions, LLC (CWS) is seeking a Water/ Wastewater Operator (dual licensed). This position has responsibility for the successful operation, maintenance, and supervision of the water distribution plant and wastewater treatment plant.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process and management
  • Operates sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment to control flow and processing of sewage
  • Perform daily checks of the wastewater treatment process and periodic checks of pump stations
  • Assist with the installation and inspection of new wastewater utilities
  • Read and interpret meters and gauges that monitor the purification process and operation
  • Operates and maintains water distribution system including servicing of pumps, motors, valves, generators, and equipmentย 
  • Analyzes and evaluates pump equipment, trouble-shooting malfunctions, and monitoring of water operationsย 
  • Responsible for daily inspections of all plant equipment and perform repairs of machinery and equipment as needed
  • Collects and records data for record maintenance
  • Performs facility grounds maintenance including cleaning equipment and tanks, cutting grass, and various other โ€˜housekeepingโ€™ duties
  • Performs other related duties as directed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Wastewater Operator Certification required
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records required
  • Experience within a water/wastewater treatment environment
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be available to work overtime and โ€˜on-callโ€™ rotation as needed
  • Looking for the following certifications or have the ability to obtain within the first year:
    • C Well
    • B Distribution
    • Biological Wastewater Grade 2
