Position Summary -
Water Quality Technician essential functions include safely and efficiently performing water quality sampling and maintenance services that meet or exceed the standards of clients and management. This position performs a variety of activities involved with water sampling, stormwater maintenance and inspection. On the job training will be provided to the selected candidate.
Specific Duties:
  • Collecting and delivering water samples and general water system maintenance.
  • Responding to client inquiries and projecting a professional image.
  • Safely and proficiently operating all company vehicles and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including vehicles, work site and equipment
  • Regional travel REQUIRED - 4-5 days per week; All travel expenses are covered by the Company.

Position Requirements
Basic Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience water testing and sampling
  • Valid driver's license with ability to drive company vehicles and maintain insurable status under the company's auto policy based on acceptable driving record. This is an ongoing requirement of this position.
  • General site maintenance knowledge and skill
  • Knowledge of construction safety. (OSHA certifications are preferred.)
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • Background check, drug screening (including marijuana) and driving record review are part of the pre-employment process.
  • This position is designated as safety-sensitive and involves operating DOT-regulated vehicles, which requires inclusion of marijuana in the drug testing program.
  • Overnight travel required 4-5 days per week.
