Our Slide Attendants are the guardians of fun and safety at our water attractions.ย You'llย monitorย loading and unloading areas, enforce safety rules, and ensure every guest enjoys a secure and exciting experience.ย 

A SLIDE ATTENDANT'S DAY-TO-DAYย 

  • Monitor attraction loading and unloading areas and prevent injuries by proactively communicating with Guests andย eliminatingย hazards.ย 
  • Enforce all safety and departmental rules whileย maintainingย a polite and professional demeanor.ย 
  • Educate Guests on safety protocols and ensure all posted warning signs are adhered to.ย 
  • Conduct safe and effective rescuesย in accordance withย training and lifeguard certification protocols.ย 
  • Maintain test-ready skills to respond to emergencies at all times.ย 
  • Participate in all required in-service training toย maintainย slide attendant certification.ย 
  • Be knowledgeable in completing live audits correctly.ย 
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Lifeguard Supervisorย immediately.ย 
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order before use.ย 
  • Keep hip packs filled and prepared for emergency situations.ย 
  • Utilize and understand whistle signals for effective communication with team members.ย 
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members toย maintainย a safe and enjoyable Guest experience.ย 
  • Remain alert andย engagedย throughout shifts to ensureย a high levelย of safety awareness.ย 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support park operations.ย 

WHAT IT TAKESย 

  • Minimum 16 years of age.ย 
  • Must pass Ellis and Associates Dispatch training (provided by theย company).ย 
  • Must pass CPR/First Aid certification.ย 
  • Ability toย maintainย focus and vigilance in a fast-paced environment.ย 
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or currently enrolled in high school.ย
