What does a water quality intern do?

A Water Quality Intern assists with monitoring, testing, and analyzing water samples to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards. Their responsibilities often include collecting field samples, performing laboratory analyses, maintaining data records, and supporting environmental projects. Interns may also work with experienced scientists to learn about water treatment processes and help prepare reports on findings. This role provides valuable hands-on experience for students or recent graduates interested in environmental science or engineering.

What types of projects or tasks can a water quality intern expect to work on during their internship?

As a Water Quality Intern, you can expect to be involved in a variety of hands-on and analytical tasks such as collecting water samples in the field, conducting laboratory tests to assess chemical and biological parameters, and assisting with data analysis and reporting.
