Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will prepare and operate printing press equipment while supporting quality, safety, and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Authorization:
To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
  • Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
  • Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity.
  • Check plates for correct format.
  • Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
  • Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
  • Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of the job and equipment.

Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
You Must Have:
  • Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances
  • High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • High degree of mechanical ability
  • Good reading ability

Requirements Within This Position:
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18-19. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
