We are seeking an experienced Clean Water Modeller to join our Chief Engineering Officeteam-someone who brings strong capability in cleanwater network modelling and a commitment to developing deep technicalexpertise.This is a rare opportunity to join a leading technical teamand helpshapethe future of cleanwater modelling acrossCapital deliveryandthe wider business.

What you will be doing

You willlead thecapital schemeclean watermodellingcapabilitywithinthe Chief Engineer'sOfficeteam,collaboratingwithAssetManagement andOperationsto influencehow our cleanwater systems are designed,operated, and optimised.

You will translate complex model outputs into clear,riskbasedrecommendations and play an active role in assuring modelling quality and developing capability across the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadingthe development of solutions and testing operating scenarios for new water assets

  • Diagnosing performance issues in existing assets

What we are looking for

You will bringextensivehandsonexperience incleanwaternetwork modelling, along with:

  • Proven leadership in delivering complex modelling projects involving multiple stakeholders

  • Experienceofleading technical studies and interpreting system behaviour

  • Strong analytical,problemsolving, and communication skills

  • Experience with tools such asInfoWorksWS Pro,Synergi, or similar

  • Solid hydraulic fundamentals and a genuine commitment to professional growth

  • Strong knowledge of industry context, policies, frameworks, and initiatives, including interpreting their impact on modelling priorities

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or demonstrable relevant experience; Chartered status or working towards it with a professional body.
