Job Title: Production Laborer - CNC Dept.Job Description

As a Production Laborer in the CNC Department, you will operate CNC Water Jet Machines, working with high-quality granite and quartz materials. You will ensure precise cuts, optimal material usage, and adhere to production schedules, all while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Water Jet Machines through automated programs without manual intervention.
  • Align stone slabs accurately using laser projection systems for precise cuts.
  • Select and load appropriate CNC programs for each stone job using computer systems.
  • Swap machine parts and tools for different tasks to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Interpret job layouts and measurements for accurate fabrication.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and support the night shift CNC operator.
  • Perform manual finishing and detailing work on stone surfaces as needed.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time to meet production goals and deadlines.
Essential Skills
  • Experience operating CNC machinery, preferably in a stone or countertop fabrication environment.
  • Proficiency with computers and CNC software for program selection and job setup.
