Job description

Description The Sanitation Truck Driver will responsible for operating / driving the Authority's collection trucks, keeping the trucks clean ,and operable. Duties and Responsibilities Operates all vehicle equipment trucks in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize risk of inquiry, property damage or loss of life. Transports all collected solid waste to the landfill.

Performs daily safety and maintenance checks, assisting with the repairs of the solid waste collections trucks. Maintenances a daily log of maintenance and repair activities. Maintains a daily record of all solid waste pick-ups and deposits.

Cleans solid waste collection trucks as scheduled or required. Performs duties in a safe manner and in accordance with Authority safety requirements. Interacts in a courteous manner with customers and members of the public.

Assist in implementing the Authority rules and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED from an accredited school is required. One (1) year of related experience.
