B&N Water/Wastewater Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Project Manager and/or technical subject matter expert for selected clients/projects
  • Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects. Typical projects may include water/wastewater treatment plants, water transmission mains, water booster stations, sanitary sewers, sanitary force mains, sanitary pump stations, and developing master plans.
  • Manage select projects to meet success goals and oversee other Engineers in the delivery of projects. Working with office and business leaders, establish goals and budgets.
  • Lead business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management. Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery process.
  • Assist business development leaders in Indiana to develop SOQ's and participate in client interviews, where necessary
  • Train, coach, and mentor junior design staff in developing and delivering design projects
  • Actively lead and participate in project delivery to create an exemplary client experience by delivering work on schedule and budget
  • Support development of strong client relationships with existing and prospective clients

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent engineering program
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Indiana; or ability to register through reciprocity
  • 8+ years of related water/wastewater experience
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Prior Project Management experience a plus
  • Experience with design delivery and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
