The Director of Forensic Review is a critical leadership role responsible for the comprehensive management and motivation of Forensic Review Supervisors and their respective teams. This individual is pivotal in identifying operational bottlenecks, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that the needs of clients and business partners are consistently met. The Director will drive data-driven decision-making through perpetual metric analysis, strategic staff forecasting, and proactive coaching to maintain operational excellence, departmental growth, and the highest standards of product integrity and company culture.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Strategic Leadership & Team Management:
    • Provide daily leadership, guidance, and motivation to Forensic Review Supervisors and their subordinate team members.
    • Actively coach and counsel staff on daily peer and client interactions, maintain comprehensive performance profiles, implement targeted performance improvement strategies, and effectively resolve conflicts among peers.
  • Operational Excellence & Efficiency:
    • Conduct perpetual statistical metric analysis of team efficiencies, client satisfaction, and staff forecasting to maximize operational effectiveness and inform strategic staffing decisions for both short- and long-term needs.
    • Identify and address operational bottlenecks, managing resources efficiently to ensure seamless departmental function.
    • Maintain and recommend an appropriate headcount to ensure adequate production volumes and service levels.
    • Collaborate proactively with internal department managers to meet daily business and client needs, ensuring alignment and seamless service delivery.
  • Legal & Compliance Oversight:
    • Coordinate closely with the Legal Department to resolve complex chain of custody issues and manage subpoena responses.
    • Represent Watchtower Security as a Custodian of Records in court when required, validating evidence turned over by department team members during the normal course of business, which may include overnight travel.
  • Departmental Management & Culture:
    • Lead the annual department budget creation and ongoing management, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic goals.
    • Maintain product integrity across all forensic reviews and actively support the embodiment of the company culture within the department.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.


Job Skills and Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable professional experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably within a forensic review, investigations, or operations management environment.
  • Leadership & Coaching:
    • Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and coach others in a professional and impactful manner, fostering team development and high performance.
  • Analytical & Technical:
    • Proficient analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven business decisions.
    • Experience with image and video editing software preferred.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders (staff, clients, legal, executive leadership).
    • Strong problem-solving, critical, and situational thinking skills, especially under pressure.
    • Ability to work effectively without extensive guidance, demonstrating initiative and strategic foresight.
