Schedule Options:

  • Sunday to Wednesday, 9:00pm to 7:00am
  • Wednesday to Saturday, 9:00pm to 7:00am

Looking for a leadership role where you can make a meaningful impact? Embark Behavioral Health is hiring a Night Watch Supervisor to lead and support a team providing overnight care for adolescents ages 12-17 in our residential substance use treatment program.  In this role, you'll oversee the safety and well-being of residents, coach and support overnight staff, and help ensure a safe, structured environment throughout the night. Whether supporting a teen through a challenging moment or guiding your team through overnight operations, your leadership will help ensure every teen feels safe, supported, and prepared for the day ahead.Responsibilities
  • Supervise & Direct Night Staff - Oversee up to four night watch team members, providing training, coaching, and accountability.
  • Maintain Security & Order - Conduct routine safety checks, enforce safety protocols, and ensure a well-managed environment.
  • Model Resilience & Problem-Solving - Encourage effective coping strategies and provide steady guidance when residents face difficulties.
  • Respond to Critical Situations - Assess and de-escalate incidents, ensuring appropriate interventions.
  • Manage Nightly Operations - Oversee facility upkeep, complete assigned tasks, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with Leadership - Keep the Program Director and clinical team informed with key observations and updates.
  • Participate in Rotating On-Call Duty: Serve as an on-call supervisor once every six weeks for one week, providing support for staff and residents as needed.
Qualifications
  • Age: 21 years or older
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Quick decision-making abilities and a growth mindset aligned with Embark's core values.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred, particularly in adolescent programs.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training provided).
  • Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screening and federal/state background checks in accordance with Missouri state laws.
